 INTRODUCTION
The  program targets to provide technical training in Plant Tissue Culture (PTC) to rural and urban unemployed youth who is 12th pass. The theory classes of the training will enable them to understand the science and the finer points of PTC, whereas hands-on training will help them to work in a PTC industry or a laboratory and to reproduce the protocols. In CSIR-NBRI, we have good faculties with expertise in PTC and experience in teaching.  All the faculties are having more than a decade of experience in providing a well-designed training in tissue culture micropropagation. A Skill Development Program under CSIR Integrated Skill Initiative is going to start at CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute, Rana Pratap Marg, Lucknow-226001 as follows:-
