• Conferred Professor Birbal Sahani Medal by Indian Botanical Society in the year 2019.
• Conferred Biodiversity Lecture Award by the National Academy of Sciences India in the year 2019.
• Conferred Dr. Mopuri Brahmam Memorial Award in Biodiversity Conservation in 2016 by Orissa Botanical Society.
• Presented Brandis Award in 2009 for best research paper in Silviculture by Indian Forester.
