Right to Information Act 

The Right to Information Act 2005 came into force for its enactment from 12 October 2005 to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority in India. Under the act We provide the following information suo moto on this website for the citizens of India.

Procedure for application for obtaining information:
Applicants desiring information under the RTI Act-2005 are requested to fill up the Application Form and forward to the Public Information Officer on his address accompanied by an application fee of Rupees ten by way of cash against proper receipt or by demand draft or by bankers cheque or by IPO drawn in favour of Director, National Botanical Research Institute, payable at Lucknow.

NBRI has designated Central Assistant Public Information Officer (CAPIO) and Central Public Information Officer (CPIO) who can be contacted for any information required under the ‘Right to Information Act’ on the given contact address/phone number/fax number/email.
